Privacy and email updates
When you choose to subscribe, EZSims LLC collects the email address you provide, and your name and company if you provide them. We record the time you agree to receive updates, your IP address, and an approximate country, region and city inferred from your IP when a local geolocation database is configured. IP based location can be inaccurate. We use these details to manage our mailing list, understand where subscribers are located, and protect the signup form from abuse.
Your choice
Signing up is optional. To ask us to remove you from the list or delete your signup details, email info@ezsims.io. Submitting the form records your request; it does not verify that you own the address. We do not send email from the form itself.
Popup and cookies
The signup feature does not set a browser cookie or store a browser identifier. After 15 seconds, it asks our server whether the visitor's IP matches a previous signup, then offers the form if no match is found. The server computes a keyed hash for that check. People who share an IP, such as coworkers, may share the same popup result. A dismissal is remembered only while the page remains open. The website or hosting provider may have separate logging or services outside this signup feature.
Storage
Signup details are kept in our database until you ask us to delete them or we remove inactive records. We keep a limited set of recent signup attempt times keyed by a protected IP hash to limit abuse, and periodically clear old attempts. Database access is restricted to authorized staff.
